WARRIORS

0

I’m sorry, I haven’t posted in a while but I have been reading these books called Warriors. Now I’m going to tell you about the first series. There are a lot of series. Here’s a list of books in the first series:

Into the Wild (Warriors, #1)

Fire and Ice (Warriors, #2)

Forest of Secrets (Warriors, #3)

Rising Storm (Warriors, #4)

A Dangerous Path (Warriors, #5)

The Darkest Hour (Warriors, #6)

These books are all about cats. All the characters are cats. I’ve read all the series and I’d give them 5/5 stars. They are adventure/fantasy. They can be funny like when they say “You’re a mouse-brain!”, scary like when foxes come(foxes and badgers are the cats’ enemies) and sad at times, when cats die.

The main characters in the series: Firepaw/Fireheart, Graypaw/Graystripe, Ravenpaw, Sandpaw/Sandstorm and Dustpaw/Dustpelt. All the cats have this kind of name. If you have “paw” at the end of you’re name you’re an apprentice. If you have something else at the end of your name you are a…WARRIOR!

I hope you liked this post and I hope you read the series.

My Sister the Vampire:Switched by Sienna Mercer

2

Today I will be reviewing My Sister the Vampire:Switched by Sienna Mercer. this is what Goodreads says about it!

When Olivia Abbott moves to town, she’s excited to join the cheerleading team and make new friends. Then she meets Ivy Vega. At first, Ivy, pale and dressed all in black, looks like Olivia’s opposite. Then the girls look beyond the glittery pink blush and thick black eyeliner to discover they’re identical–identical twins!Olivia and Ivy are brimming with plans to switch places and pull every twin trick in the book. But Olivia soon discovers that she and Ivy aren’t exactly the same. Ivy’s a vampire. And she’s not the only one in town.

So as you can see this is the first book in the series of My Sister the Vampire. There are at least 12 books in the series. I liked it because I like vampires. And it’s full of surprises!! I really liked it when Ivy (who is a vampire)tells Olivia(who is not a vampire)that she is a vampire!:)

It’s exciting and interesting.I thought that having a vampire sister would be AMAZING! Because a vampire drinks blood but not human or animal blood ,artificial blood because they have not bitten people or animals in centuries! Because they say that drinking blood would be gross! And it would risk exposing vampires!:( So read it!

SISTERS 8 by Lauren Baratz-Logsted, Greg Logsted and Jackie Logsted.

1

This series is very awesome. READ IT. The author is Lauren Baratz-Logsted with Greg Logsted and Jackie Logsted. Jackie Logsted is the daughter of Lauren and Greg.

It’s about eight sisters whose parents disappear on New Year’s Eve and each of the eight has to discover her gift and her power each month, starting in January and ending in August. Here are the Eights: Annie, Durinda, Georgia, Jackie, Marissa, Petal, Rebecca, and Zinnia. They each have a cat. The cats are Zither, Anthrax, Dandruff, Greatorex, Jaguar, Minx, Precious and Rambunctious.

Annie takes care of the house. Durinda cooks.  Georgia can be annoying. Jackie is the fastest. Marissa is the sensible one. Petal always worries. Rebecca has lots of energy and Zinnia thinks she can talk to cats. There is a loose stone in the drawing room where they find the first note. They find one note each time one of the eights finds her gift or her power. The first note said that “you have to each find your gift and your power and when the last eight finds her gift or her power you will start to find out what happened to your parents.”

I like this series because it’s a mystery and I like mysteries. I read them really fast and then I got sad because I finished them already. And now I need to read a new series like the 39 Clues.

Lost Girls Chapter Book #1 (Disney Fairies)This week I’m choosing a book for “I can’t wait to read” and it’s called Never Girls #1: In a Blink by Kiki Thorpe. Here’s what Goodreads says about it: The smell of salt water, a gust of seabreeze, and the bell-like ringing of a fairy’s laugh are the only hints that something magical is happening to Kate, Mia, Lainey, and Gabby. In a blink of an eye, the four friends are whisked out of their ordinary lives to the most wonderful place of all–Never Land, home to fairies, mermaids . . . and now four lost girls. The girls don’t want to leave right away, but Queen Clarion and Tinker Bell have figured out a way for them to get home. Will Kate, Mia, Lainey, and Gabby’s fantastic adventure end before it’s barely begun?

I’m going to look for it at the library.

MMGM – Cassidy the Costume Fairy

2

This week I am looking at Cassidy the Costume Fairy by Daisy Meadows. I know it’s not quite middle grade but I was looking for something quick and easy to read because I was tired.Cassidy the Costume Fairy

This is what Goodreads has to say about it:

“Fairies and princesses — a magical combination!

Rachel and Kirsty are so excited to spend the week at the Golden Palace. They’re going to live like real princesses! But before long, they discover that something is terribly wrong. The Princess Fairies’ magic tiaras are missing! Without them, both Fairyland and the human world are a royal mess.

Without Cassidy the Costume Fairy’s tiara, costumes everywhere are one big jumble. Rachel and Kirsty have to find Cassidy’s magic tiara in time for the royal pageant!

Find the missing tiara in each book and help save the princess magic!”

I liked it because it’s about fairies. My favorite character is Cassidy because she helps and she’s a fairy. I also liked the part where they do a pageant and they all have good costumes.  One part I didn’t like was where the goblins were fighting about the tiara; it wasn’t very interesting. But it was a very good book.

I would recommend this book to girls 6 to 10 because it’s easy enough to read, but fun for more confident readers. It has 4338 words and a reading level of grade 2.

Right now I’m reading THE NAME OF THIS BOOK IS SECRET by Pseudonymous Bosch. I will review it as soon as I’m done. And next I will read the sequel, IF YOU ARE READING THIS IT’S TOO LATE.

The Name of This Book Is Secret (Secret, #1)If You're Reading This, It's Too Late (Secret, #2)
